About

Cut to Zero is an international collaborative consulting group founded by Danielle Elsener and Cassandra Belanger, two pioneering members of the Zero Waste Design revolution. Through Cut to Zero we work with communities, brands, universities, NGOs, and designers to create accessible education and design solutions.

Cass and Danielle have been collaborating together as educators since 2020. Their shared passion for accessible education and enthusiasm for zero waste design has led to their expertise being shared through workshops and design events around the world.

Founder of The Stitchery Studio, co-founder of the Zero Waste Design Collective and a founding member of Sustainable Fashion Scotland. Resident Sewing Instructor at the Central Scottish School of Craft and a Fashion and Textile Lecturer at Glasgow West College.

Founder of DECODE Zero Waste Design System & Co-founder of Zero Waste Design Collective. Specializes in research and development surrounding the future of sustainability in the fashion industry. Currently running her brand DECODE and teaching at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
